Working with Michael McGinn Design Office (MMDO), I developed a layout algorithm for Herman Miller that organizes swatch search results by color clustering. The relative position of the swatches is maintained, regardless of the density of the results.

The deliverables for this project were a description of the algorithms and a demonstration app that ran on the desktop. Herman Miller developers created the Flash version that appears on their website. The online version of this color tool is meant to accompany the Herman Miller Materials Program.
